Superior Propane is Canada's only national provider of portable fuels, equipment and service delivered locally to residential, commercial and industrial customers in over 180 communities – coast to coast. Since 1951, the Superior team has been dedicated to enhancing customer value with unique energy solutions and delivering best in class customer service.

So it was no surprise when Superior turned to Fuse for a turnkey solution for consistent, engaging and effective monthly e-communication with their customers. The objective was two-fold. Superior wanted to effectively target the needs of each customer. And they wanted to make the process as user-friendly as possible for customers and their internal team.

Enter our email marketing tool. Fuse created an online sign-up form that was quick and easy for customers to complete, allowing them to choose specific email communications. Fuse developed three templates – one for each category:

  • Superior eConnect for promotions and offers
  • Superior Living to distribute a customer e-newsletter
  • Superior Service & Safety with customer service and safety tips

At the same time, the information collected was detailed enough to allow Superior to segment messaging to specific customer groups. The functionality was developed so that customers could easily change their subscription or unsubscribe from specific communications. And the email marketing tool manages the database, which saves countless hours of internal Superior time and resources.
